Baxter Hoare has become the fifth travel management company (TMC) to join the Guild of Travel Management Companies this year.
Anne Godfrey, GTMC's CEO, said she has been encouraged by the response to a membership drive launched in February, which has also seen hotel partners sign up.
"To have five new [TMC] members in such a short time, in an industry still in recovery from the financial restraints of the last few years and at a time of consolidation within the industry, absolutely demonstrates the regard the organization has in the industry.
Godfrey said that members are reporting return on investment after having signed up to the organisation, which she said is "crucial in this climate".
Adam White, managing director of Baxter Hoare, said: "The GTMC brings together all of the key industry stakeholders on behalf of the business traveller in an inclusive, sensible way to develop practical solutions to industry challenges.
"The organisation continues to evolve and grow and increasingly it is becoming THE respected voice of the business traveller by government and suppliers alike."
White said he has ambitious growth plans for Baxter Hoare, and that he expects the company will benefit from working parties and briefings operated by the GTMC.
The four other TMCs to sign up this year are: Giles Travel; Wings Corporate Travel, TD Travel Group Scholefield Turnbull & Partners.
