Three travel buyers have been appointed to the GBTA’s European advisory board.
Continental’s Rudiger Bruss, who is based in Germany, Mette Christensen, from Maersk in Denmark, and Herve Krotoff, from Scheider Electric in France, have been appointed to the GBTA board.
The three new members will complete an initial two-year term during which they will advise the GBTA on expanding membership, training, research and hosting events in Europe.
Torbjorn Erling, chairman of the advisory board, said: “I am delighted to welcome such a distinguished and broad panel of buyers to our advisory board. We were looking for a diverse set of buyers from different business sectors and geography.
“With the increasing success of our oil, gas and marine programme it’s great that we will now have a buyer from that sector on our board, but it’s also important that we have senior representation from Germany and France too.”
