Clarity
Travel’s specialist sports division has announced a three-year deal with Queens
Park Rangers Football Club, becoming the Championship club’s official team and
business travel partner.
Clarity
Sports will facilitate QPR’s team and business travel for all fixtures, in a
deal which will see the two work together until at least the conclusion of the
2022/23 campaign. Clarity Sports will also be delivering the day-to-day
business travel requirements of the club.
Euan
Inglis, QPR commercial director, said: “We have been reviewing this area of the
business recently, especially in light of the Covid-19 situation. After careful
consideration, and on speaking to a number of high-profile football club
clients of Clarity Sports who all spoke very highly of the service being
provided, we decided that the service that Clarity Sports offered best suited
our needs and we’re delighted to be partnering with them."
Rob
Slawson, director of sports travel at Clarity, said: “Queens Park Rangers are a
great club. We are always honoured to be given the responsibility of
facilitating travel, and we look forward to helping the club achieve their on-the-field
goals with our off-field assistance and collaboration.”
Meanwhile, fellow Championship side Brentford FC has
extended its deal with Simplexity Travel Management for a further three
seasons. Simplexity started working with the Bees in February 2018. Last season, the club secured its highest league finish in more than 70
years and moved to a new stadium.
