FCM Travel Solutions has expanded its operations in the Middle East after signing partnership agreements with Gofly in Algeria and Travel Club & Tourism in Kuwait.
The addition of the two countries means the TMC now has a presence in 22 markets in the Middle East and Africa region.
In addition, FCM has promoted Ciaran Kelly (pictured) to managing director for the UAE of the brand’s parent company, Flight Centre Travel Group. Kelly first joined FCM in 2002 and has held key business development and management roles. He has been general manager for Middle East and Africa since 2012.
Kelly takes over from Andrew Boxall, who has been appointed European managing director for FCM Travel Solutions.
Gofly was established in 2009 and provides full travel management services, including flight, hotel and car hire booking options, account management, online booking tool technology, traveller safety services, VIP executive services, leisure travel services and more.
Travel Club & Tourism is a full-service agency established in 2007 that offers services such as corporate, group, MICE, leisure and educational travel. It is also the general sales agent for Indian online travel business Makemytrip and Visit Britain, and also works closely with VFS Global.
