Travel management company (TMC) Expotel is to team with UK national cab booking service, Taxibank, in a move that will build on the TMC”s existing portfolio and tap into Taxibank”s network.
"This alliance will substantially expand the volume opportunity of corporate clients for Taxibank and will complement the services offered by Expotel by offering the most reliable national taxi booking service available on the market today," said Taxibank managing director Simon Hirst.
Expotel CEO Ian Burnley echoed Hirst”s optimism, noting: ”This partnership makes Expotel the only travel management company to offer a complete door-to-door service.”
Taxibank is a relative newcomer compared to Expotel”s 30-year trading and, following its inauguration in 2001, now provides a national taxi booking service for clients such as Nokia, Royal Bank of Scotland, HM Revenue and Customs and the RAC.
