Expedia’s travel management brand Egencia has expanded its operations in Asia with the opening of an office in Singapore.
The new Singapore base is Egencia’s fourth full-service local office in the Asia Pacific region. The TMC already operates in China, India and Australia and now has a presence in 65 countries across the world.
Egencia’s president Rob Greyber attended the opening of the new office as the company focuses on “growth and development” in the region.
“Singapore has a well-deserved international reputation for being a business-friendly city, and an important travel hub, and we're delighted to be here,” said Greyber.
“Growing in Asia means we can provide our world-class customer service and intuitive technology to modern business travellers throughout the region.”
Expedia said it was launching its Singapore office with more than 30 clients already on its books, including pharmaceutical company Takeda.
