President and CEO of Expedia Dara Khosrowshahi will discuss how business travel is likely to change in the next few years when he delivers the opening keynote presentation on the first day of the Business Travel Show in London.
His presentation, The Future of travel: Celebrating 20 years of the Business Travel Show with a look at what the future holds for the travel industry, will take place at 09.50 on February 4.
Khosrowshahi is an award-winning technology entrepreneur and CEO of online travel firm Expedia, which operates more than 150 travel booking sites in more than 70 countries worldwide.
He will look to explore the impact of millennials (18-32 year olds) on the travel industry and will reveal how this will influence multi-platform services, personalisation and the demand for intelligent services for the new generation of business travellers.
Khosrowshahi said: “From mobile devices and reward points to thoughts on mixing in a bit of fun while travelling for business, my aim is to share insights from our Future of Travel report to help conference attendees streamline the process of buying and booking business travel.”
Business Travel Show event director David Chapple said: "When it comes to understanding how the travel industry works and how to create and maintain a successful business within it, this man knows it all, and the opportunity to hear what he has to say and learn from his experiences is a real coup for our conference delegates.”
BBT is a media partner for the Business Travel Show. The event takes place on February 4-5 at Earls Court in London.
