Travel management company Egencia has upgraded its Traveller Tracking and Travel Alerts tools for European clients.
The Expedia-owned brand claims the enhancements allow greater adherence to duty of care obligations. The Traveller Tracking tool is now integrated into Egencia’s booking platform, meaning that all businesses, large or small, can access it. It enables travel managers to locate employees on a worldwide map and access individual trip data.
The Travel Alert service monitors international incidents and potential threats that affect corporate travellers.
“Travel management companies have a duty of care to their clients,” said Christophe Peymirat, Egencia’s vice president global marketing. “Egencia fully equips travel executives to manage crisis scenarios, providing the information and tools necessary to support their travellers no matter the location and circumstance.”
