TMC Diversity Travel, which specialises in the charity, academic and not-for-profit sectors, has recorded a year of strong growth with plans for “global expansion”.
Diversity Travel, number 34 in BBT’s top 50 UK TMCs, saw its revenue climb from £24.7 million to £34.4 million for the year ending March 2014.
Staff numbers at the TMC also grew by 22 to 89 in the past year.
“We’ve enjoyed a phenomenal year’s growth, delivered outstanding levels of service to clients in the charity and not-for-profit sectors, and attracted substantial levels of new business in the academic sector from both the UK and overseas,” said Diversity Travel’s managing director Christopher Airey.
It has UK offices in London and Manchester and has recently announced the opening of an Australian base.
“The opening of the Australian base will be instrumental in serving clients from around the world,” Airey added.
Diversity Travel serves around 2,000 clients including Action Aid, Salvation Army, Marie Stopes International and Tearfund.
