New service provides online "real time" booking
De Vere Venues has launched a new online booking service aimed at meetings and events organisers.
The new system from De Vere, a specialist in meeting, training and conference venues, allows users to search and compare rooms from five venues at the same time.
De Vere said it is possible to find and book a room at any of its 30 UK venues within three minutes.
Bookers can reserve rooms for a maximum of 25 delegates using a simple colour coded calendar, for full or half day meetings during the week.
Reservations can be made up to six months in advance, or for last minute bookings by 1.30pm the day before.
Extras may be booked at the same time, including snacks and tea and coffee.
Full day meetings include lunch, while food for half day meetings can also be arranged.
The layout of the room can also be chosen in advance.
Nickie Holland, e-commerce and CRM manager at De Vere Venues, said the system would continue to improve as new options are added.
De Vere has 30 venues across the UK, including five in London.
