The UK government has removed the Czech Republic,
Switzerland and Jamaica from its list of travel corridors, meaning returning
travellers will need to enter quarantine for 14 days from 0400 on Saturday, 29
August.
Transport secretary Grant Shapps said data from the Joint
Biosecurity Centre and Public Health England shows the three countries have had
an increase in cases over the last week, prompting their removal from the safe
list.
Meanwhile, Cuba has been added as a travel corridor so
people entering the UK will no longer have to self-isolate from Saturday.
