IT company Conferma has signed a partnership deal with AirPlus International, a travel payment specialist.
Under the agreement, customers will be provided with a new automated payment system for hotel bookings.
The AirPlus Conferma Hotel Settlement Solution will be available the customers in the UK from the end of April via their TMC or hotel booking agency.
A joint statement by the two companies today (March 18) said the customers would receive a "virtual card" with a unique number for each hotel booking.
The booking is then billed back to the "virtual card" which will automatically make the required payment.
The system will also capture additional data including the customer's cost centre, budget codes and employee ID.
Yael Klein, AirPlus UK's managing director, said: "By partnering with Conferma, AirPlus is able to offer a specialised hotel settlement solution to its customers, providing them with greater transparency through enhanced invoice data."
Simon Barker, Conferma's chief executive, said the partnership supported its strategy "to provide TMCs and their corporate customers access to our products by working with respected and established partners in the travel and expense management sector."
