Expense management firm Concur has purchased two companies which provide technology to TMCs.
Concur has acquired GDSX and TRX for undisclosed sums and now plans to integrate their products into the Concur T&E Cloud.
GDSX offers cloud-based tools including pre-trip authorisation, trip disruption solutions and centralised data storage.
TRX provides automated tools to TMCs as well as offering data and analytics designed to help buyers “gain increased control and visibility over their managed travel programmes”.
Steve Singh, Concur’s CEO (pictured), said: “TMCs are a critical element of the travel ecosystem, and Concur is investing more than anyone in the industry through internal solution development, acquisitions and the Perfect Trip Fund to help the ecosystem grow and drive success for TMCs.
“By integrating GDSX and TRX into the Concur T&E Cloud, we will enable seamless linking to suppliers, technology providers, corporations and travellers. For our TMC clients, this will help to create efficiency and value throughout the travel ecosystem.”
