Income exceeds expectations
Concur, a global expenses management system provider, reported third quarter revenue of $62.2m, a 13% rise on the same period last year.
The US company said net income for the three months to June 30 were $7.2m, exceeding expectations.
Net income in the same quarter in2008 was $4.5m.
Steve Singh, Concur's chairman and ceo, said: ""New customer growth in the quarter was among the strongest in our history and we see a solid demand environment for our services as we head into the fourth quarter of fiscal 2009."
Mr Singh said that against an environment which was beginning to stabilise, the company planned to speed up its expansion.
The company announced earlier this week that it had bought French rival Etap-on-Line.
Concur has also expanded rapidly in Central Europe in the past year.
