Spend management services firm Concur has signed a partnership with minicab company Addison Lee, offering new e-receipt and ‘Direct Connect’ services.
The deal will enable travellers to book Addison Lee taxis through the Concur travel platform and link a receipt to their expense report.
Available as an app from the Concur App centre, the new ‘Direct Connect’ service will provide Concur customers a way to book ground transportation, with all journeys “simply priced” – fares and tolls included.
The e-receipt service means travellers don’t need to collect a written receipt after the journey and can also use Concur to complete expense reports.
Addison Lee’s corporate clients will be able to link their account with Concur, which enables e-receipts to be auto-generated for every Addison Lee booking.
Isabel Montesdeoca, enterprise managing director, Concur UK, said: “Our chief focus at Concur is making the lives of business travellers quicker and easier, eliminating the challenging and stressful parts of a business trip and increasing the visibility of spend for the business.
“In that spirit we are delighted to offer Concur’s customers the chance to book a journey with Addison Lee through our online booking tool.”
Concur Travel estimates more than 120,000 trips a day are booked through them and Addison Lee has a fleet of 4,500 vehicles and partners in 350 countries.
