The Business Travel Association (BTA), formerly the GTMC, has announced Clyde Travel Management as its latest member.
Glasgow-based Clyde, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, offers a range of marine, offshore and business travel solutions to clients, as well as utilising technology and personalised account management.
The company was number 29 on this year's Leading 50 TMCs list.
As a member of the BTA, Clyde will be able to participate in networking and industry events and become part of the collective voice of the association, which lobbies for business travel in the UK on issues that impact TMCs, their clients and travellers.
BTA CEO Adrian Parkes commented: “We are delighted to welcome Clyde Travel Management as our first member under the new brand BTA, only a few weeks after it was announced, and thrilled to be supporting the team with their positioning and business growth objectives.
“With 30 years of experience in the business travel sector, we look forward to the contribution Clyde will bring to the association and our wide range of industry partners and we encourage them to work closely together to forge strong and meaningful partnerships that will benefit the business travel sector.”
Paul Cronje, director of Clyde Travel Management, added: “As we continue our expansion into overseas markets, with our newly established offices in Sweden and USA, it’s the perfect time to cement our status as one of the largest growing TMCs in the UK by joining the BTA.
“With this partnership we have the opportunity to work closely with peers and key travel industry suppliers, such as airlines, accommodation companies and technology providers, to provide streamlined solutions that will ultimately benefit our client base.”
