Click Travel has announced that it has won the contract to manage all corporate travel for UK-based retail bingo operator Buzz Bingo.
The TMC says Buzz Bingo is on track to reduce travel spend by 10 per cent, with 98 per cent of the company’s reservations now being handled online through Click Travels booking platform.
Use of the platform gives the client access to analysis of employee travel trends to help it identify areas to reduce spend. Team members can also manage their travel plans online while being guided to ensure their bookings are compliant with the travel policy in place at Buzz Bingo.
As a result, the TMC claims 95 per cent of hotel reservations are now policy-compliant.
Click Travel says its platform has also given Buzz Bingo’s employees access to the best deals on hotels, rail and air bookings while remaining in policy.
In addition, the company can also take advantage of dedicated support from Click Travel’s team of experts.
Buzz Bingo currently has more than 3,000 employees across 119 bingo clubs across the UK and its travel bookings predominantly involve rail and hotel bookings alongside the occasional air journey, according to Click Travel.
James Mulholland, procurement officer at Buzz Bingo, said: “Click Travel’s booking platform is so easy to use we’ve seen our online adoption rate increase from an average of 15 per cent to more than 98 per cent. This is a staggering jump and testament to how having access to the right technology – and the support of a team that truly understands our needs as a business – can make a huge difference.”
This is the second major client win announced by Click Travel in recent months, with Perkbox choosing the TMC to manage its travel requirements in May.
