Chambers Travel Management is working closely with the House of Commons to ensure newly elected MPs receive 'seamless' travel services after tomorrow's general election.
The travel management firm, which was won Best Business Travel Management Company (£50 - 200 million UK annual sales)at this year's Business Travel Awards, was awarded the Houses of Parliament government contract last September and has a team of six staff based in Westminster servicing MPs, Peers and staff of both Houses.
Chambers said it will be operating full booking services over the weekend of May 9 and 10 to "ensure MPs travel needs are handled personally straight after election day".
“When Chambers was awarded the Houses of Parliament contract eight months ago, we deployed an implementation team to work with House officials in order to ensure a smooth transition of travel services from the incumbent TMC,” said Julie Cope, operations director, Chambers Travel Management.
“We engaged with the different customer groups within Parliament to ensure all their requirements were met, resulting in a seamless transition when management of the travel office began," she added.
