Chambers Travel Management customers can now use their smart phones and hand held devices for pre trip approval.
The travel management company (TMC) said its clients are keen to be able to approve employees’ travel spend while on the road themselves.
Chris Thelen, Chambers’ CEO, said Iapprove Mobile has proved popular in its pre-launch trials.
“Those approvers in an organisation are usually the ones who are on the move and so having an electronic approval that is simple to review and action from a handheld device is imperative,” he said.
The new functionality is an extension of Chambers’ Qi suite of mobile solutuions, which the TMC launched in June.
Chambers mobile technology is device aware, allowing users of any brand of mobile or device to access it. Thelen said this is vital for future development.
“Many of our customers access our services through multiple booking channels and therefore it was important to develop an approval system that works and looks the same to the end user regardless of the channel used for booking,” he added.
