Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s UK boss Patrick Andersen (pictured) is moving to the US to take charge of the TMC’s Americas division.
Andersen was appointed as executive vice president for the UK and Ireland, Nordics and Eastern Europe in February last year. He will now move “with immediate effect” to become president of CWT Americas which includes both North and Latin America.
CWT has yet to make any announcement about Andersen’s successor in the UK.
Andersen has been at CWT since 2008 and initially worked in Scandinavia before moving to the UK in 2012 when he took over from Andrew Waller. Andersen will now be based at CWT’s US headquarters in Minneapolis.
CWT’s CEO Doug Anderson said: “Patrick is a proven leader within CWT and we are excited that he is taking on such a key role; leading our teams in the Americas to continue bringing exceptional value and service to the travellers and companies we work with.”
