Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s Nigel Turner is to retire in April after 34 years at the TMC and 43 in the travel industry.
The UK senior director of programme managementstarted at CWT as a branch and implant manager, before moving to account management, and then a number of teams from the UK board including public sector, business services, sales and programme management.
Turner will hand over the 24-strong programme management team to Denise Harman on April 28.
She has been country director in Ireland for the last three years and will focus on CWT’s client management teams, while retaining some responsibility for elements of the Ireland business.
Harman will continue to sit on the UK & Ireland leadership team reporting to VP and country director Johan Wilson. She joined CWT in 2014 after 15 years at Aer Lingus, and 10 years with another TMC.
