Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has announced first half sales volumes of $14.4 billion, a 2.7 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.
The TMC’s financial results for the first six months of 2014 also showed transactions were up 4.2 per cent to $32.5 million.
Sales for the first half of the year were $748 million and CWT also achieved a client retention rate of 98 per cent.
CWT president and CEO Douglas Anderson said: “We have seen strong performance in the first half of 2014. We will continue to deliver outstanding customer service as well as the new and enhanced services that our customers are asking for.”
This month CWT published its 2015 Global travel price Outlook, which predicted that hotel and flight prices will rise in the UK next year as the economy continues to improve.
