Travel management platform CWT has been awarded Platinum status
by independent corporate social responsibility rating agency EcoVadis, marking its fourth consecutive year of being recognised by the firm.
According to CWT, the new Platinum rating, which was introduced in January this year, places it in the top 1
per cent of more than 60,000 companies rated by EcoVadis worldwide.
The agency rates firms based on 21 CSR criteria, grouped
into four themes: environment, labour, fair business practices and sustainable
procurement. CWT’s performance in these areas was evaluated, assessing
policies, actions and results.
Francoise Grumberg, CWT’s vice president of global
responsible business and diversity and inclusion, commented: “It is humbling to
receive EcoVadis’s top rating for the fourth consecutive year. Our colleagues’
commitment to driving progress in areas and initiatives such as anti-human
trafficking, the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles and unconscious bias
training reinforces responsible business as a core tenet of our culture here at
CWT.”
