Carlson Wagonlit and Gulf travel management company, Alshamel, today (29 October) signed an agreement to provide regional travel services to corporate and government clients across the Middle East.
Starting with Kuwait, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, the new agreement is an extension of Alshamel”s current Carlson Wagonlit/SATO travel affiliate deal, active since 2000.
Acquired by Carlson Wagonlit late last year, SATO is globally the largest supplier of travel services to the US government and military.
”Under this agreement it is now possible for us to offer a one-stop option for our clients and prospects in the Middle East, ensuring that Carlson Wagonlit and Alshamel is present 24/7, 365 days a year,” said Carlson Wagonlit vice president global partners network, Coenraad Bijlsma.
