CTI Corporate Travel Management is to showcase its new online booking tool which the company has developed itself.
The TMC, which was rebranded as CTI following TD Travel’s takeover of hotel booking agency Hotelscene last year, will be demonstrating the capabilities of its CTI Sherpa booking system at the Business Travel Show.
CTI said that the Sherpa tool aims to give buyers access to a wider range of airfares and hotel rates by including those that are not normally available online.
Chris Needham, the TMC’s chief technology officer, said: “Our rationale behind CTI’s knowledge-based solution is that not all the best airfares and hotel rates are available online. In fact some big savings can be made if you can identify when an offline approach is best.”
“Existing online booking solutions ignore this fact, ultimately costing the corporate client more as they pay online prices that, unknown to them, can be bettered by an offline approach.”
The company will also be demonstrating its Travel Canvas platform which is designed to allow bookers to search, compare and book multiple travel options at the same time.
