Panacea Media has appointed Matthew Parsons as the new editor of Buying Business Travel.
He joins from Travel Trade Gazette, where he previously held the role of technology editor. Prior to Travel Trade Gazette, Parsons has held various positions at UBM, Informa and Commercial Aviation Media.
He replaces Paul Revel, who left in January for a communications role at American Express Global Business Travel.
As editor, Parsons will have responsibility for the bi-monthly Buying Business Travel magazine and portfolio of supplements, as well as working alongside digital editor Molly Dyson on online content.
