The Business Travel Show has finalised its conference programme for the two-day event in February.
The key topics of the programme will be demand management, payment solutions and travel policy, during the show which takes place at Earls Court in London on February 5-6, 2013.
There will be more than 60 educational sessions included in the programme, which is being sponsored by Travelodge, Amadeus, Egencia and Skyteam.
David Chapple, event director of the Business Travel Show, said: “Demand management, payment solutions and travel policy are three of the biggest issues facing corporate travel managers right now and we’re looking forward to helping buyers drill down deeper into each of them.”
There will be three sessions on both demand management and travel policy during the show, plus two seminars on payments. For full details, click here.
The programme will also include more case study-style sessions than in 2012 and additional main debates, as well as the new half-day conference sessions exclusively for hosted buyers on the day before the show, February 4.
Chapple added: “Demand management is about companies looking beyond supplier relationships and towards gaining greater cost control by persuading their travellers to buy smarter and take fewer trips and we speak to buyers who can shed light on this.
“Until recently, corporate payments remained unchanged for decades. We will highlight new mobile technology and single-use virtual cards that are both opening up big opportunities for travel managers.
“And it would be remiss of us to not dedicate multiple sessions to travel policy – the whole ‘vogue is rogue’ issue has been hitting the headlines all year.”
