BridgeStreet has become the first serviced apartment provider to become a partner of the GTMC.
The addition of BridgeStreet means that the GTMC now has 30 supplier partners including airlines, hotel chains, technology firms, rail operators and car rental providers.
GTMC chief executive Paul Wait said: “Serviced apartments are a growth hospitality area and TMCs have certainly recognised the benefits of being able to offer an alternative to hotel accommodation.
“BridgeStreet is our first serviced apartment partner, giving them exclusive access to GTMC members.”
BridgeStreet offers more than 50,000 apartments in more than 60 countries.
Jo Layton, senior vice president sales and marketing for BridgeStreet, said: “Given the continued growth and expansion of serviced apartments globally, BridgeStreet sees this as a valuable and worthwhile investment to ensure that serviced apartments can be accessed as a solution for GTMC extended stay travellers.”
