The world’s biggest hosted buyer programme will be launched at the Business Travel Show (BTS) in London next year, the organisers said today (September 6).
BTS said it aimed to bring 1,200 buyers from Europe for the two day show on February 7-8.
Each would be in charge of an annual budget of more than £3m and many would be visiting the show for the first time, BTS said.
With each buyer committed to at least four meetings with suppliers, BTS said it would mean at least 6,000 meetings over the two days.
BTS said that buyers attending the show would receive free flights and accommodation, fast track entry to the show, access to its first class lounge and access to technology to enable them to book meetings.
David Chapple, the event organiser, said: “Centaur Travel Group has invested heavily in the corporate travel market for the last 17 years, and the introduction of this programme is testament to our future long-term commitment to both this market and to ensuring that the Business Travel Show remains the leading event in Europe.”
