The Business Travel and Meetings Show (BTMS) today (August 16) announced it was launching a hosted executive buyer programme for its event next year.
The new programme will be held in conjunction with its sister event, the European Travel Buyer Awards.
The show, which is owned and run by Centaur Travel Group, said the new programme would be an extension of the buyer programme it launched in 2009.
The Group said this programme had increased the number of buyers who attended the 2010 event by 130%.
David Chapple, BTMS event director, said: "BTMS invested heavily in its Executive Buyer Programme this year and, as a result, brought in hundreds of new UK buyers with a purchasing power in excess of £3m.
"For 2011, we will build on this success by hosting the crème de la crème of European travel buyers.
"With both the leading UK and international buyers in the hall, we can't fail but to further increase the return on investment that BTMS offers exhibitors."
The BTMS Hosted Executive Buyer Programme includes free flights and accommodation, an invitation to the prestigious European Travel Buyer Awards and VIP treatment at BTMS.
The next BTMS is due to be held at Earl's Court, London on February 8-9, 2011.
