The Business Travel Association has appointed four new directors from TMC members to its industry board to help raise awareness of the sector’s importance to the UK economy.
The BTA board’s new members are Adam Murray, UK chief financial officer at Flight Centre, Munro’s Travel’s managing director Murray Burnett, Kieran Hartwell, who is managing director of corporate travel at Travel Counsellors, and Kevin Harrison, managing director of Good Travel.
Clive Wratten, CEO of the BTA, said: “We are pleased that we have directors joining the board from across the UK, including business owners from Hull and Scotland, ready to bring a youthful dynamism to the team.
“It’s important to us that we are able to gain keen insights into business travel needs from across the UK directly from business people and the new directors will do just that.”
The BTA said that the new directors would also assist with the association’s “push for frictionless travel across the UK”.
