BSI, the corporate accommodation and conference management organisation, has acquired London-based event management consultancy, Olive 360, for an undisclosed sum.
As part of a five-year plan to develop an integrated service for all accommodation and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and events) bookings, BSI has bought the company for its event management, production and creative services.
Little will change on the surface of things for Olive 360, which will continue to operate under the same branding and with the same staff, headed by CEO Sarah Jones (pictured), who has been with the company for ten years.
”Olive 360 is a perfect fit for BSI,” said Jones. ”The pace of growth for the events market is astonishing, but this dynamic presents its own pressures on small businesses like us who wish to maintain long-term competitiveness and presence.”
BSI group managing director Charles Cockell added: ”Olive 360 adds another core string to BSI Group”s bow, and firmly establishes our footprint in the event management arena.
”We know that there are major synergies to be gained between a client”s accommodation space and MICE purchasing requirements, and are focussed on combining both areas into one holistic service offer that sets a precedent.”
