Global travel management company (TMC), BCD Travel, is expanding its presence in the Middle East through partnerships with companies in Israel and Jordan. The move is in keeping with the TMC's strategy of creating alliances with local travel providers around the world.
The partner company in Jordan, TIJWAL Corporate Travel Solutions, was founded in 1996 as the first corporate TMC in the country; in Israel, B.T.C (Business Travel Center), which has offices in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa providing services to some 300 companies, will be aligned with BCD Travel.
Both will retain their original company names for their respective leisure divisions, although the corporate management branches will be re-branded as BCD Travel.
”Our clients depend on our comprehensive industry insight and strong, stable global presence to help them navigate through a rapidly changing and complex business travel landscape,” said BCD Travel managing director and senior vice president of partner networks and the Asia Pacific region, Greg O'Neil (pictured far right).
”Our expansion in Israel and Jordan means we are now better positioned than ever before to deliver our travel solutions to national and multinational customers around the world.”
B.T.C CEO, Ofer Chodorov, added: ”The business travel sector is increasingly technology-oriented and is influenced by the companies' demand for full control over their travel processes and procedures. Our decision to work with BCD Travel stems from our international customers” needs and the uniquely advanced technological solutions BCD Travel provides across the globe.”
TIJWAL's managing director, Ramzi Majdalawi (pictured second from left), was also positive about the future benefits of an alliance with BCD: ”Our understanding of the local market together with BCD Travel's strong global reach will provide major benefits for us both.”
