Dutch travel company BCD Holdings saw annual sales rise by 9.6 per cent to $22.8 billion in 2012.
The company said that its global TMC subsidiary BCD Travel had put in a “solid performance” last year including a 95 per cent retention rate for existing clients.
BCD Holdings said it had increased overall profits from $118 million in 2011 to $124 million last year (as measured by EBITDA) - a 5 per cent year-on-year increase.
Joop Drechsel, CEO of BCD, said: “In focusing on the traveller experience, together with our customers, we are seeking creative solutions in order to save on expenses, make better choices and enable increased productivity for business travelers.”
BCD also owns Dutch online travel company Travix as well as Parkmobile International and Park ‘N Fly in the US.
“Although travel demand is expected to remain constant, the rapidly changing market also offers many new opportunities and BCD is looking forward to the year 2013 with confidence,” said the company in a statement.
