BCD Travel, the London-based travel management company, has introduced an independent advice brand called Advito. The name derives from the words ”advice” and ”ito,” which is a form of the Latin root meaning ”journey.”
The new brand will operate separately from BCD Travel, and Advito is keen to express that there will be no bias towards the parent company.
A spokesperson for the new venture told ABTN: ”Our new brand, reflecting our status as an independent business unit, emerged in response to our clients' demands and our beliefs.
"Our clients have said they want objective, unbiased consulting services, together with the actionable knowledge and data that comes from industry expertise and link to a world-class TMC.
"We, in turn, firmly believe that Advito is a voice for our clients, advocating unbiased perspective and customised counsel.”
