British Airways (BA) has stopped its daily flights from London Heathrow to Tripoli until at least October 29.
The decision is in response to the ongoing conflict in the country.
Passengers booked onto the route before its November re-launch will receive a cancellation notice.
BA is offering passengers the choice of a full refund, or using the value of the ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket to any other destination without change or service fees.
Bmi launched flights to Tripoli on February 21, but was forced to suspend the route the following day.
According to the Bmi website, the route is cancelled until at least April 15.
Libyan airline Afriqiyah Airways has suspended its flights, out of London's Gatwick airport, until further notice.
