One-stop-shop for savings of up to 61% on key spend categories
American Express today unveils details of its enhanced Corporate Savings Plus (CSP) programme, offering discounts in new categories and new partners. Enabling companies to make significant savings in key everyday spend categories, the CSP programme includes savings on business solutions, dining, travel and corporate hospitality & gifts.
Mimi Kung, Vice President and General Manager at American Express Commercial Card UK explained: "With businesses looking for cost cutting measures that don't impact vital business activity, re-negotiating supplier contracts is often a good place to start reducing costs; however we found that many businesses have not yet done this. By identifying key spend categories and leveraging our purchasing power and relationships with global and local partners, CSP provides compelling discounts and offers for businesses at a time when many need it the most."
The enhancements come following a study1 previously issued by American Express revealing that nearly one in four UK business decision makers admit that it is a struggle to decide which cost saving measures would most benefit their business, if at all.
Corporate Savings Plus, now including new categories in dining and corporate hospitality, allows businesses to save money on products and services within four key business spend categories:
- Business Solutions: Discounts up to 61% on items such as conference services, computers and software, plus printing and courier services via partners including Apple Store, HP, Conference Plus and CityFleet
- Dining: American Express clients and their guests can save 20% on food at a number of restaurants.
- Travel: Savings of up to 20% can be achieved on travel related expenses such as hotel accommodation, car rental, airport parking and travel insurance via partners including Hertz, Holiday Extras airport parking and Marriott
- Corporate Hospitality and Gifts: Clients can enjoy up to 20% discounts on gifts and events from partners including Fortnum & Mason, Virgin Wines and Keith Prowse Events
The Corporate Savings Plus programme will be continuously enhanced with new partner offers.
