American Express today announced the appointment of Javier Mejía, as the new Head of American Express Barceló Business Travel.
The new company, "American Express Barceló Viajes", was formed as a joint venture between American Express Business Travel and Barceló Business and has been operating since July 2008 as a leading specialist in the business travel industry.
Javier will be leading a team of over 550 business travel professionals divided into three strategic areas: Business Travel, Group Travel and Inbound Convention Organization. With an initial portfolio of over 400 clients, the teams provide specialised services covering the needs of companies of all sizes within Spain and abroad.
American Express Barceló Viajes is one of the top three operators of Business Travel in Spain, with offices in Madrid and Barcelona.
