Multinational group Amadeus, has signed a long-term pan-European agreement with online travel agency European Travel Interactive (eTRAVELi) to provide its web fare-search and booking system.
The travel company is the largest in the Nordic region, operating nine different brands in 15 European markets, and with more than 1m subscribers. It will now be able to make bookings on around 500 airlines, 73,000 hotels and 27 car rental companies serving nearly 35,700 locations.
”We aim to use our position as a market leader in the Nordic region as a springboard for growth across Europe,” said eTRAVELi CEO Ralph Axelson. ”Amadeus technology will provide the ideal platform as we aim to become one of Europe”s leading online travel companies.”

With this latest agreement, all of the major European online travel agencies have now chosen to partner with Amadeus for the provision of key content and fare-search technology.”
