Travel technology company Amadeus has signed a deal to integrate ConTgo’s mobile travel solution into its own corporate offering.
ConTgo’s Mobile Travel Assistant sends travel information, such as ground transport options and hotel details, to travellers’ mobile phones at a time when they might need it.
To be sold by Amadeus as Amadeus Mobile Travel Assistant, it can also send specific warnings and global risk information.
Albert Pozo, Amadeus’ director of multinational business and corporate travel, said corporations and TMCs need technology that considers duty of care to staff, as well as corporate travel policy restrictions.
ConTgo Travel Assistant is an industry leader, he said: “Its system is tried and tested and works faultlessly worldwide.
“ConTgo’s outstanding performance during disruption events such as the volcanic ash cloud crisis, the December snow chaos and the Queensland flooding is a strong sign of its bandwidth and capability to deliver superior service to our joint customers.”
Mobile Travel Assistant is now available to travel management companies (TMCs) and corporates who use Amadeus technology to book and manage their travel.
