Travel agency consortium The Travel Network Group (TTNG) is targeting the corporate travel market through a relaunched corporate brand.
The group has unveiled Corporate Travel Solutions which is being offered to its members who already work in business travel through an existing relationship with Uniglobe.
The new brand will also be available to TTNG members who want to enter the corporate travel market.
TTNG managing director Gary Lewis said: “Business travel can be a very lucrative sector for our members and we want to help them get the most out of their membership with us, which is why all of these new enhancements will be offered completely free to our existing membership base.”
The move will be seen as a challenge to fellow agency consortium Advantage which has more than 200 business travel members and is run by corporate director Ken McLeod.
TTNG’s new business travel platform includes a website that can be adapted by members to showcase their services, as well as offering access to formal presentations and pitching material, and other marketing collateral to promote themselves to travel buyers. They will also have access to the consortium’s net fares.
“Corporate Travel Solutions will help our members and their business travel proposition in a number of ways,” added Lewis.
“Firstly, there will still be the opportunity for them to act as a sub-branch of our Uniglobe membership and qualify for the net fares through our IATA licence using our own Honeycomb technology.
“And, secondly give them access to a whole host of real tangible benefits that range from helping them write business presentations to assistance with producing personalised marketing materials.”
