NBTA Europe has appointed its first advisory board to provide "strategic direction" for NBTA Europe, as well as representation for the newly formed network.
Three European and global travel professionals will join the chairman of the board Caroline Strachan (global category lead for Astra Zeneca).
The three new board members are: Torbjorn Erling from Sweden, global meetings and travel manager for IKEA Group; and Yann Le Goff from France, sourcing director for Sidel, a subsidiary of Tetra Laval Group; and Floyd Widener, vice president sales and global program Management, EMEA, for Carlson Wagonlit
Strachan said the network will be looking for more Advisory Board members in the coming months, adding that "the appointment process would ultimately develop into a full nomination and interview process over time".
NBTA is also looking for an advocacy representative, to represent the interests of the network at a European parliamentary level.
