The Advantage Focus Partnership of business travel agencies said today (May 7) it had signed an agreement with Rearden Commerce.
The three year deal will provide a “combined travel, procurement and spend management solution” for the group’s 77 members.
The agreement marks a major expansion for the Californian IT company into the European market.
A statement by Advantage said Rearden technology would provide functionality “comparable to top consumer websites” for its Focus members.
This included giving corporates “critical control and end to end spend management capabilities”.
Steve Murray, head of Focus Operations said Rearden’s IT would serve the “needs of both the corporate buyer and business traveller”.
He added: “Our group purchasing power is once again enabling our partners to access and deploy services that improve their operations and impress their clients.”
Matt Beck, Rearden’s UK regional director, said: “With the customisable platform and mobile application, corporate buyers will be able to expand their focus to include additional services like dining, ground transportation, airport parking and web conferencing while simultaneously capturing all T&E expenses in the Rearden expense solution.”
