ATPI Group has signed a new extended deal with technology firm Travelport to use its GDSs around the world.
The UK-based TMC, which employs more than 1,400 people across its 60 offices, said the new contract with Travelport would help to cut costs for clients.
Graham Ramsey, ATPI’s group chief executive officer, said: “There are great synergies between our two businesses and we work well together around the world.
“Reaffirming this commitment aids the ATPI Group in delivering savings for our clients, and continuing to offer an industry-leading service.”
As well as travel management, ATPI also specialises in organising corporate events through its ATP Event Experts division.
Sandra McLeod, Travelport’s senior vice president of global accounts and corporate development, added: “The ATPI Group and Travelport have a strong track record in working together and we are both confident that the use of Travelport’s technology around the world will continue to bring significant benefits.”
