Travel management firm ATPI Group has continued its global expansion with the purchase of a second Australian business travel agency.
ATPI has acquired Plan B Travel, based in Melbourne, to strengthen its position in the Australasia region following the purchase of Voyage Travel in Australia two years ago and New Zealand’s Business World Travel last month.
Plan B was set up in 2011 and has built up its corporate client base to more 130 over the last five years.
ATPI Group’s CEO Graham Ramsey said: “We are delighted to welcome Plan B Travel into the ATPI Group and are pleased to further expand our offering and presence in Australasia.
“Developing our group operation is a key part of our growth plans. Plan B and its clients fit well with the ATPI profile and will benefit from the group’s global expertise, industry leading technology, and comprehensive people development.”
ATPI has built up its network to more than 100 offices around the world.
