Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) and Institute of Travel Management (ITM) are joining forces to host ”The Changing Face of Travel Management” on 24 May at London”s Business Design Centre in Islington, held in conjunction with the Eye For Travel Show.
Topics to be covered at the event focus on two key areas of travel management: corporate social responsibility (CSR) and meetings management. CSR topics include recent changes to the corporate manslaughter bill and what this means for travel managers, as well as the responsibility of the travel manager for an employee”s safety and welfare when travelling.
Strategic meetings management and how this can be incorporated into a travel management programme will also be discussed, as well as the potential for new technologies such as ”converged conferencing” and how they can be deployed in the corporate work space.
