ACTE (Association of Corporate Travel Executives) will hold its Asia Pacific Educational Conference from 22-23 August in Singapore”s Fullerton Hotel in the central business district.
The two-day programme includes keynote speakers on corporate social responsibility, business in a borderless global market and leadership and talent management.
A North East Asia Colloquium will address specific travel management issues in China, Hong Kong and Japan, in addition to 14 breakout sessions where travel professionals present topics and discuss the latest industry challenges.
ACTE has also improved interaction and networking for the event, with roundtable discussions, receptions and a Travel Management Clinic on value-based sourcing (VBS), which is limited to 50 participants.
Another ACTE educational forum will take place weeks later in early September, when the association hosts a one day event in Brussels alongside the Belgian Association of Travel Management (BATM).
Airline Alliances and Responsible Travel Management takes place on 4 September at Radisson Brussels City Centre and will address the role of airline alliances for corporations and recent changes to corporate social responsibility (CSR).
