The executive board of the Austrian Business Travel Association (ABTA) was unanimously re-elected at a regular general meeting in Vienna this week.
ABTA president Roman Neumeister, who is travel manager for OSCE, together with vice presidents Sabine Toplak, who works for Accor, and Angela Lille, head of travel management at Erste Group Services, will lead the association for a further two years.
Lille has additionally spearheaded the sustainability and digitalisation advocacy efforts of BT4Europe, of which ABTA was a founding member in 2022.
“I am very pleased that in our anniversary year – ABTA is celebrating its 35th birthday this year – we can report on the upswing and positive developments of our association, but also of the industry as a whole,” said Neumeister.
Neumeister thanked outgoing ABTA officials Wilfried Kropp of Kropp Communication and Andreas Weingartner of Hertz for their services, while several new additions were also made official. They included Julia Kopac of visum.at/CIBT as deputy treasurer, while Business Travel Unlimited's Dr Georg Nader, Salzburg Airport's Janine Kranz and Avis Budget Group's Emilia Böhmer all join the extended board.
