Online rail retailer thetrainline.com has struck a deal with Deutsche Bahn to offer a wide range of German and connecting rail travel products.
The tralineline.com said the new partnership, with one of Europe’s largest train operators, will enable customers to check the full range of fares and availability and buy online tickets for German and connecting rail journeys.
It said the relationship is a “key stage” in its European growth strategy.
Rob Parkinson managing director for thetrainline-europe.com called the move a “significant” step forward in its goal to “revolutionise” sales of European rail tickets for customers.
“We have worked closely with Deutsche Bahn to finalise the deal, which represents an important strategic partnership for us,” he added.
