Thetrainline.com has expanded availability of its ‘print your own’ rail tickets for corporates and TMCs to two more train operators.
The online rail specialist is now offering the ability to print advance tickets on East Coast and East Midlands train services. For East Midlands, the product is available on selected routes from Nottingham.
This is in addition to the six rail firms that already offer the service – Virgin Trains, Cross Country, Greater Anglia, Grand Central, First Hull and First Great Western (where it is available on selected routes from Reading).
Thetrainline.com’s system displays advance train tickets as a barcode which can then be printed by customers using standard A4 paper.
“PYO is now accessible by all TMC and corporate clients of thetrainline.com, no matter what form of payment they choose,” said the company.
“Being previously available for transactions made with a credit card; other forms of payment such as on-account and lodge cards have recently been enabled, satisfying the demand from many customers to grow this popular fulfilment option.”
